It was wonderful to see such imagination, collaboration and practical skills that our children are learning through mathematical play. This week in anticipation of International Maths Day we have been exploring some new activities including number skittles, weaving patterns, using coloured card and threading pasta on to coloured strings ready to decorate and make into necklaces. The focus, concentration and resilience has been amazing! The children have used their creativity and critical thinking to build with magnetic shapes, explore the school environment on a scavenger hunt and look at volume.
